Kalypso is used to work on tasks pertaining to flood risk management, to the development of flood protection concepts, and to the calculation of flood hazards and risks. Kalypso combines all state-of-the-art functions of hydrological and hydraulic simulation. The free, open source execution includes the modules Hydrology, WSPM, 1D/2D, Flood, and Risk. For the operation of numerical forecasting models or the centrally controlled processing and management of water profiles, we offer the stand-alone products “Forecast” and “Cross Section Database,” which dock seamlessly with Kalypso. Hydro_AS-2D, D-Flow and Telemac-2D are add-ons that extend the functionality of the 1D/2D module with additional 2D computational kernels.
