The waterfronts of rivers and lakes are biological hotspots but also alluring points of attraction for recreation seekers in towns and cities. These areas need to be designed to meet a wide range of demands in terms of residential and living quality, recreation, climate protection, and ecology. The goal of our design and planning work is to achieve an optimal synthesis of functional and ecological requirements and aesthetic quality. Of primary interest is the experience of the water and a sustainable, user-friendly design.
